The Super-A has an offset PTO, which makes it harder to hook up a rotary mower. If you put a 3-pt conversion on it, the link that picks up the left arm may get in the way of the PTO. Also, the PTO shaft will have some pretty sharp bends in it. I use a 4 foot tow-behind. It works pretty good. I think a 5 footer would be pushing it in tall grass, and anything bigger would really be pushing it. A sickle bar mower, or a belly mower made for the A, would get around all this if you can find one. 40 acres is a lot. I would go with the M
