There is no way to turn an A into a Super A or a C.

You can, however put oversized pistons in it. Standard for an A is 3 inch diameter, and upgrade to 3-1/8 is an easy change. This raises the displacement from 113 to 123, which is the same as a Super C from the factory. High compression pistons will give a couple more horsepower too.

I have a B that I put oversized, high compression pistons in and it dynoed at 24 horsepower.

It's a matter of buying & replacing the pistons and sleeves together, no special machining should be required.
