as of right now I dont have any pics, I still have to go pick it up, I have been bugging my grandpa to fix it for years, and finally he said he would, well hes turning 70 this year and decided he did not have time to fix it so he said to come and get it to fix it if I wanted to, geuss what? I am going to go get as soon as the road restrictions come off. I think the steel is perfect on it, It has sat for the last 25+ years. They used to use it for a skidder back in the 70's. I geus it had steel wheels on it when he bought it, but before he even took from the guys yard he put rubber tires on it. right after that he drove it out to the woods to start pulling wood with it and he parked it for the day, the next morning he went out there to go to work and some one stole the carb and mag off of it. I have some of them located for it for like $350.00 for the pair, did not think that was too bad of a price. Tractor was just rebuilt right before the stuff was stole off of it. IT still turns over and all. But I think I am going to put oil in the cylinders to make sure that the rings are not froze. I think the tractor is in good shape for being a 1928 model, metal is rust color but not pitted or anything like that. Not bad for being given to me any how, I know one of the rear tires on it now has been flat for some time now and I think that the rim is completley rusted , fact is I think that rim is half gone. It is some thing that i used to play on while I was growing up as a kid, so I think it would be cool to fix it up and show it off. Now I live on a farm and stuff. Help the in laws out whenever needed. HE uses mostly John deere, I think he has a 8630, 4020, mt, b, h, and an r john deere, than he has a 1468 international and a 1755 oliver. the john deere mt, b, h, and r are all works in progress though. any how back to the mccormick deering , How much are you asking for the steele wheels?

The Fordson F Ignition System - by Anthony West. A fellow restorer contacted me earlier this year asking for some help and advice on a model F that he was restoring. He had over a period of months spent a fair amount of his hard earned cash on replacement parts for the old "trembler" ignition. Sadly though all his efforts seemed to be a waste of time and money as he still couldn''t get the temperamental old thing to run correctly!! If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
