Open the gasoline tap on the bottom of the carb, then try the decompression lever forward and gas should run out; this will be the gas position. If gas does not run out in either position you have some thing else stuck, between the lever, and the butterfly on the right side behind the carb, make sure everything is moving throughout its stroke when you move the lever to its extremes...Darald
