Tom it don't have to be Hy-Tran any good hydraulic and transmission oil will work. On the bucket it will have a chart that will tell you if it is equivelent. The major thing is the brake additives needed for the wet disk brakes. I haven't bought genuine Hy-Tran since the warranty expired on my 80 model 584. That would be 81, in those days 1 year is all you got. Wal-Mart even has transmission oil that will work fine. Just read the label.
