I adjusted the valves today with advice from The Red, I had conflicting info from two different manuals. Went to the IH dealer today, ordered new seals and gaskets for the steering worm wheel and shaft assembly. I took the governor with me for them to inspect, I was having trouble with low idle, it checked out o.k., guess I just need to fine tune the carb and linkage. The valves also could have been out of adjustment, I didn't check it before disassembly. Time to head to work, see you guys tomarrow.
