I did a little cross reference of the blocks on case's parts site. The 400 uses a different block, (if you are talking farmall), so neither of the conversions they have listed will fit unfortunately. Well I shouldnt say that, it's possible the actual location for the adapter would bolt on, but the blocks are different and whether those areas are the same and the adapter would fit is unknown to me. I would email them and ask, they might know bettr. Just seems if it would fit, they would have it listed on their site which would help them sell. If your seal land is pitted and grooved, I can see why you would just wanna do the conversion. But if the surface is in good shape, why bother? The filters are more then what the original filter element costs are TSC. Financially it's not a good investment. Thats my $0.02
