I think the biggest problem with IH disc brakes because original disc's are no longer available.I have worked on several of them. All replacement disc's today are aftermarket, the compound in them is much harder than the originals. I now take both band and disc brakes to a clutch and brake shop for relining.They use a softer compound in their linings, Sliding the tires backwards is no problem,
