It maybe that the screw - bolt may have come loose and the linkage is just slipen or ya may have to go inside the unit and do sopme repairs . Hard to say with out being there. If ya have pioneer couplers ya may have one or two of them go bad ya may also be air locked as the breather may have gotten pluged.
