The best paints are the urethanes from PPG, DuPont, Sherwin Williams, etc. Case-IH 2150, an acrylic modified alkyd enamel (made by Valspar, who also sells urethanes)is probably adequate for your needs, unless you want it to last forever. The amount needed depends on how many parts you paint separately. I would say that a 1066 (never painted one that large) would take a minimum of 6 quarts for 3 coats. Major disassembly, 2 gallons. White, maybe a quart. Don't buy from Tractor Supply or any other farm store.
