You should have good compression if you have good rings, cylinders not worn and the valves are seated. These are all related in having good compression. Ideal would be 100-125psi and all readings close to one another. You will need to get it running and make sure all the valves have enough clearance. Then remove all the plugs and do the compression check. We always did it with the throttle at wot. That's wide open throttle. Hal
