Does it still do it if you back the main load adjustment screw all the way out? If it richens up when you make the adjustment, the idle circuit might be plugged up. If nothing changes, you may need to rejet the carb bowls main jet a few sizes larger. I have found carbs that have junk or casting flash left in the fuel ports, and restricts fuel flow to the needle valve, so, check how much fuel is also comming out of the float valve. You can have alot of fuel out of the line, but if its not getting thru to the float valve, it wont keep the fuel bowl full enough, long enough, and drinks it dry. Should be a steady stream, if its a trickle, but good flow out the line, might be another casting flash problem, or plugged. Also, check the vent hole in the gas cap, could be plugged up and it will "vapor lock" Chad
