Yep. Know how that works, but this time it was a genny! ( that is another stohis oneanother fourum ...70 olds 442 first year for one wire alts....car has sat now for 4 years but no time to work on it). This last guy who tested it at least has the smarts to look up the procedure to test it on the machine they have, I wish he was working when I took it in the first time.... I talked o the genny shop today and they are going to wait for "the Master"to come in on monday.I am glad I am not the only one who is a nut case on this one!! Give me a carb problem anyday of the week, carbs are my thing!!!! (this H also has a carb problem...leaky neeldle vavle, but I will fi that after it charges right. I suspect it may have the valves adjusted to thight also. the rain cap does a dance at almost every speed and it sounds way too quiet lifter wise. Oh well all in a days work!
