I know alot of guys say 10lbs of pressure for every 1000 RPMS. Our H and Super both hold about 25- 30 lbas at idle. the Super though will get like 70 pounds wide open. The pump may be getting tired. The gears may have worn into the base plate of the pump and thus haveing a harder time holding presure. I beleive you can remove the plate and sand it back down to true. But like the post above says check the gauge first. Andrew
