My 856 had the fast hitch. I used the adapter arms and the center link and it worked very well with all the 3 point equipment I owned or could borrow. I did have a problem with the chisel plow not lifting quite high enough, but the local IH dealer told me to remove the lift arms from the rock shaft, and reinstall them in the 3 point position rather than the 2 point position, and that solved the problem. Everything worked great, and the draft and depth controls functioned just fine as well.
