If you're running a 656 with a loader on it don't run It above 1,500 rpm you could ruin the pump I have a 1969 international 656 with a loader on it and i run it on 1,200 rpm and it works perfect.
if you are worried about ground speed use the hydro and not the throttle. hope this helps
