If you go back and look at the old posts you will find several comments on how 460U tractors bring quite a bit more than rowcrops. Fans of the rowcrop don't seem to agree (I have both) but they didn't make a lot of them and they appeal to alot of people who hobby farm. I have trouble climbing up the back of the row crop and like the lower utility. From what I have read, the power assist steering was somewhat problematic, but mine works fine. You can find a picture of the 3 point adapters on ebay. they are for sale there all the time. I don;t think 3,000 is out of line, but you can try to offer 2500. The one I bought sounds alot rougher than yours.
