The tires arrrived at the Roadway terminal in Indianapolis on Friday. I picked them up Saturday morning. That terminal has over 1,000 semis in there. I got one main tire/rim on Sunday after applying two coats of paint on the hub and it had set up. the other tire/rim will go on this evening. I had a hard time getting the H rim off because someone had mounted it with the welded joints NOT positioned in the slot on the hub. For those who do not know the trick on getting the 200 pound tire/rim on here it goes. Have the hub at the appropriate height for your assembly. Walk it until the top of the rim is resting on the top of the hub and is in as far as it can go. Then start pumping the jack up and the bottom swings right in. Then slightly lower the hub until you have equal distance all the way around and bolt her down. Make sure to have your weld lined up with the slot on the hub. Though I do not have anything hooked up, the Liftall definitely has pressure. When I pull on the rod, the engine bogs down immediately. Still have to purchase a 12V generator and top mounted voltage regulator. Still waiting for the UPS shipment on the carbs. The IH kit is here. Have to install the PTO base gasket and stick in another PTO seal since there is room. I have to pull the distributor apart and find a part number so Bermuda Ken can send me a spring kit. Waiting for the used oil pump to arrive from Biewers. At hour 30 I will install it when I change the oil and filter. Gotta run the front rims over to a local mechanic and get the new Firestone tires mounted. He is charging me $50 for removal and remount. Go fetch the tin off of my 1946 H, paint them and decal everything and do some touchup painting. Someday I will get serious about removing the wheel weights. The bolts are BIG TIME stuck in the hub. I am at 13.5 hours and she is running quite well except for the timing being off at the slower speeds. I set the distributor so that its running very smooth above 1,000 RPM for now. When this is a
