Re-painting Suggestions, Anyone?

With a new motor, new clutch, and fair tires, my Super C is in good shape mechanically. But it looks like its ready for the scrap heap. In fact, it looks SO bad that civillians are always shocked to hear that it still runs and runs well. It still has the original paint (what's left of it). It has been kept indoors since new and as a result has VERY little rust, but I'd kind of like to see it looking better. Now, I'm never going to have the time to completely dismantle this tractor and paint it properly. It's just not happening. I'm going to be fifty soon and I've promised the wife no more restoration projects, just routine mechanical work from here on out. So, what kind of shortcuts do people use when painting a tractor so as to do minimal disassembly? Obviously, the radiator shroud, engine cover, and gas tank can be easily removed, sand blasted, and properly painted by a paint shop. Much of the paint on the rear end has been covered by grease all these years and looks as bright as it did when it left the factory. But, what to do about the engine and the parts of the transaxle that have faded? Also, paint and primer have lately begun to flake off the radiator, leaving BRIGHT shiny metal. What kind of primer and or paint should I use after I get all the flaking scraped off?
