Never done it that way the paint is always dry when we put them on and i have never used clear coat on a tractor . when we install them we just take some windsheild washer spray and wet down the area and stick the decal on and squeege the water out this removes any air bubbels and with a soft cloth wipe dry . And since i am cheap every tractor that i have painted has always been in the case i h 2150 enamel .
