Don't take it apart (at least noyt the head) if it is running on the block, it will do no good to pull it down now, the wear is already there and will need to be bored and new repair sleeves put in then bored again and counterbored for the sleeve rim. Let it run the way it is, and enjoy. In my opinion there is no need to do exploratory surgery on a winning race horse. JimN
