Sorry, but as far as I know, you need to pull the motor out of the chassis on a W6 to replace the rear main oil seal. You can't split a W6 between the engine and the transmission like you can an M or H. There is not enough room in the housing to pull the flywheel back to even see the seal, let alone to get the flywheel off. Therefore, I am pretty sure that the engine will have to come up and out to the front.
