That comes from folks that don't know anything about them. The one I have was bought new by a friend and has been a great tractor for him and me. I have used it almost 20 years and have had no more problems with it than any other. It has lots of power and the best fuel economy of any tractor I have now or have ever had. It starts fairly well in cold weather and runs like a champ. Parts are quite high for it, but in 20 years I have put on one water pump and rebuilt the engine once. I have 14 old Farmalls and it is ever bit as good as any I have.
