A 350U holds 10 gallons (and the fuel gets too hot from being enclosed in the tin when working it on heavy tillage) If they are the same tank, the stick will go in about a hand width beyond the bottom of the tube. one half tank is about 70 percent appearing on the stick from the top of the tank, not the neck top. if you see the bottom of the tube it has a little less than a gallon in it.
That is the best data I have, and It has been used quite often. If the tractor is stink hot, do not remove the cap, it will blow the fuel into a deadly gusher into your face, and all over the area. Been there. JimN
