I have thought about this before, and here is what I have come up with. 1) You could remove the rear wheels just before hauling it on the trailer, and set the drop boxes on a skid of some sort, then winch the tractor onto the trailer. I found the drop boxes are stout and will hold up to a little of this. 2) If it has the removable rims like the late F-20's, just remove the rims and let it ride on the cast centers. 3) You could remove the tires and run the rims over the trailer side rails, if they will line up nicely. I have the same problem with my F-20. If I put rubber on it, it will be too wide for most trailers. I have a set of skeleton steel wheels with the lugs set on the inside. This gives me 1 inch on either side to spare.
