super A wont start

Machine was running a couple weeks ago but always flooded real easy. Now it is a dead machine.
Has spark to plugs, and lots of clean new fuel, and fuel runs from carburator if fuel left on. Have taken air cleaner off to see if choke working okay and it is. Acts like it wants to start up but only for a couple fires of the system. I have even tried a 12 volt battery, and hope I have not fried something
