Like the earlier posts state, it is an easy job, unless you have one of the earlier PTOs.. The earlier PTO styles will need to be removed, and disassembled to be able to replace the oil seal, which is pretty easy, but time consuming.. The later PTO style is made so that the oil seal retainer can be unbolted W/the PTO in the tractor, so this is a very simple job.. I would suggest going to your local dealer just to make sure you got all the parts.. If I remember right, there are 2 oil seals on the earlier model, and 1 oil seal and 1 gasket on the later style..
