Yep, you're right. 1864rpm in my reference book (IT Manual). OK back to wrenchin. But as I posted I'm workin with 90+ compression so I'll be happy with 1700.And I'm using a dwell tach for 6-8 cylinder engines I bought in 1959 to work on my 57 Cheby. ( yeah, a 2DBAHTPP3SPDOD). Had all the plugs out again, redoing the valves. When each one came up to TDC I took a little sample off the top of each piston. Oily, with some grit in it. (carbon) So at a minimum it should get rings. Then I'd see the valves and do the head, then I'd check the mains, and I'd be in 1000 easy. But I've rebuilt two engines in the past two years and I know the costs. I'm hoping to leave this one in working clothes and use it for haying. That H with 4000 in parts and pro body work paint is just a hangar queen. And the SMTA will probably join it. My Grandkids will make a killing at the auction .Gordo

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
