Mike, Mine has been converted. First you need a one wire Delco alt. You will have to make a bracket for it. Second If yours is still using a magneto, you will have to get a resistor to cut the fire back down to 6 volts to the points. Mine has also got a switch to turn the charge on and off. I've been told at an started and alt. shop that the old 6 volt starter has larger wireing and it will take the increased voltage ok. If you have one of the starter of alt. rebuild shops around they can help you I bet.
