More common than you think. I had one a little more than a year ago (Jan 6th). I was at work and had no idea what was wrong with me. I was lucky since I fought it for the 3rd day (over the weekend). Monday when I went back to work and still could not remember my password (I work in IT as a Database Admin) I finally called my wife and told her to make me a dr appt. She took me to the ER, and I could not repeat 4 words spoken to me. I was back to work in 3 weeks, and recovered rapidly, but it was slow and I still feel the effects of it (short term memory and speech). I was 46 at the time. Know the warning signs - I didn't. I never had any idea until the ER Dr. told me what had happened to me 3 days after it happened.
