Good for you, I honestly think you would worry about not having anything to worry about. LOL If scrap iron will bring 300 dollars and the top end close to two, How can you go wrong at 700 dollars? Your time is worth something too and you probably spent 300 dollars running around looking. The guy is being good to you. and you have a good project to work on. Suggestion, pay the guy off before you go buying stuff for the tractor. He deserves that. I agree with the guys here that its probably the mag or fuel. Ive seen alot of old engines that ran with water in the oil. Just eats up bearings.
