Why does the engine have bright paint? How does that jibe with "in-chassis overhaul"? Something doesn't add up. What is "quick disconnect muffler hardware"?. What's wrong with a 2" pipe thread coated with high-temp antisieze. Don't really understand the need for work and play mufflers. You're not going to work it anyway. I think the owner is foolish for accepting "pay when you can" terms. All your discretionary funds will go into parts and supplies for several years. Perhaps he should have listed the tractor on the "Free" list at Craigslist. Could that might be its true value?
