Thanks Glenn, Yes, the hole is in the end, and I had pretty much figured out my error, reading the manual wrong. I haven't plugged it up. Wouldn't know what to stick in there if I wanted to. The manual just confused me when it said "Install plug at end of camshaft". Should say something more like, "Make sure freeze plug installed in crankcase behing camshaft". But then, I'm pretty dumb too. Now where did I put those darned camshaft thrust plate bolts?? Thanks again, Brian
