Dave: Those are one of the first German built IH imported into North America. I looked at one at a demonstration day way back when. I thought then they were a very akward tractor. Hard to get on and off, controls seemed very out of position compared to American built tractors. Here again, it's a case of what one get used to and familiar with a particular tractor. They may well have been a decent tractor. I do remember they were hp priced well below North American Farmalls, however they didn't sell in very large numbers. After they had a few years on them the resale value was very low. Mechanics hated them, however much the same as users they never got to work on them much.
