I need a measurement off of a Super C...Help !!

Could someone that has a Super C please measure the end equalizer spring on the throttle rod where it connects at the top of the governor. The cotter pin rusted off last year and the spring and washer disappeared. This part is no longer available through IH, I need to know the length of the spring in it's relaxed state so I can buy one from the local hardware store. I can't remember if it was the same size as the other spring on the back side. Thanks in advance..Milan
