You know, I have come to the conclusion that if all a guy wanted to do was bring a Farmall H or M back to original condn paint wise, you wouldn't have to be that careful. I think function ruled over appearance in those days. Comfort wasn't a big deal either. Just my opinion, I don't have anything against a glossy paint job that you can see to shave in, but I don't think that's the way it was.
