Don't know what the value might be, but someone out there would probably pay several $$ for it! Those things were used extensively on M-SuperM models, and some H-SuperH tractors as well as other brands. The unit had 3 main parts plus hoses and mounting brackets. A fairly small hydraulic pump was installed in front of the distributor for power, there was a reservoir tank that mounted in front of the gas tank, under the hood, on the right side. The part you describe is the actuator, and does the work. It was installed by cutting the steering shaft a few inches in front of the light bracket and then coupling the shaft ends to the actuator unit. These were very dependable units as long as you keep oil in them. I've got one on a Super M that's served well for over 35 years.
