I saw one estimate where 700,000 gallons of gasoline were burned this year by students traveling somewhere/anywhere(?) for Spring Break. The next week they were - no doubt - back in class worrying about the effects of fossil fuels on the environment. I wonder how much is burned each year by, for example, NASCAR fans going to races? We don't seem to really be serious about gasoline conservation in this country. mike
