Allan: In my books a 30% grade is 30' elevation in 100'. That is what it's always been called in my neck of the woods. What I saw on your block of wood must have been 4" elevation in 6", in other words 66' of elevation in 100'. Perhaps you would enlighten me how just how you calculate that. Seems like 66% grade to me.
