OT wood picker

A while back I was reading with interest the Discussion about carpenter bees, and the different ways people kill them. and some years back my wife had made a bee bat out of a piece of 1x4 and cut a handleout of one end. But carpenter bees are only the start of our problem. About a week ago one of GA large red headed wood pickers moved in . He is feasting on the nest of the carpenter bees and tearing up our rafters to get at them. It took me a couple of days to figure out what he was doing, and now we have a mess. you can be sure we will be more aggressive with the bees from now on. Larry
