This is good news. I was haveing nightmares about haveing to split the tractor which I wouldn't attempt but takeing the top cover off with a dozen pieces ready to fall into a black hole sounds challenging. The boy is replanting some beets today and wants to start spraying corn tomorrow. Maybe between spraying and swathing hay there will be a couple of days to peek under that cover. Brian
