What he has isnt a 185 for sure. I cant remember what the 169 we had looked like exactly. I THINK it had the forrow opener just like his shows but I aint for certain. Our 185 clamps onto a tool bar just like his shows to do. Ours for sure dosnt fit the fast hitch, it has a clamp for the tool bar. Maybe someone put a 185 bucket on our planter? All I know is it basicly like Kieth has, Ill check it again tomorrow to see if I see any other numbers on it. Really only differance in the one we have and the one Kieth shows is that ours has a wide rubber cover wheel in the back verses the split kind of wheel his does. Plus the chain that drives the sprocket has a cover on it. You see the big square bar in front of the main planter that has the two square plates? Thats what I think is the bar that attaches to the gang arms. Probly attaches with a solid rod and that allows the main planter part to swivel up and down where you can adjust for differant depths.

A Question for Dads This recent topic from the Tractor Talk discussion board is being highlighted because it is an awesome display of the caliber of individuals that have made this site their own. The young person asking questions received positive feedback and advice from total strangers who "told it like it is" with the care many reserve for their own kids. The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
