Curtis: Just about everyone that ever owned a Super A, experienced what you are going through. The few that didn't bought them new and have long since passed away. The rest that never had a problem are either liars or just bought a SA to look at. 90% of the time the problem is vertical shaft within the steering box. Newer ones have woodruff keys on gear and steering arm while the older ones have square tapered shaft for steering arm. I have seen woodruff keys bad enough to give a full 360 degree turn at steering wheel. The other 10% have bearings gone in steering wheel shaft. If there is no end play on that shaft those bearings are fine.
