The roll pin was put in by someone elseas they are or were suppose to be a tappered Groved pin as the holes were tappered drilled , but over time they got woren and that pin fell out and someone drilled stright thru with a 1/4 inch bit . Makes it easier when one must take one apart . as for doubel pinnin thats fine drillen out to 5/16th thats ok TILL it starts getting sloppie then there is noplace to go the next time other then MAKEN up a new special pin to take up slop.
