Farmall C Throw out bearing

Help ! Have Farmall C Had the Motor rebuilt a new disc. pressure plate & rebuilder furnished the throw out bearing , the old bearing has a small carbon face new one is the modern style, wont work with old style cradel,rebilder says get cradel to fit new style throw out bearing. any thoughts on this ? Thanks Richard
