B-434 polarity?

This has probably been asked before but I couldn't find it in a search, Were these tractors positive or negitive ground?. It has a Lucas starter & Generator with a delco regulator?
Also is the field of the lucas generator internally grounded thru the brush or externally grounded thru the regulator?
