Only pullen down a 100 rpm is not over loading it now if ya are pullen it down to 12-1300 rpm all the time then this is overloading it . A diesel will blow some black with out a turbo charger and some of them will when the govener opens up to fight to hold RPM. Try runnen it up a 100 over PTo speed as this will only add a few RPM to the pto and should not hurt anything. Just watch your engine temp as a woring diesel runs her best at around 190-200 . Then newer stuff is running hotter then that.
