I've done a fair bit of building 3 point hitches for SA, 100, 130 and 140. To make a hitch that works well on inground implements like plows, disks, etc., the lower links must be straight and they must attach to tractor 30% closer together than at the implement. This is what allows one to make steering corrections while implement is in the ground. I've done a fair bit of expermenting, pulling plows and disks. You've got to build it close to Ferguson's specs, he did have it right.

Just about any type of a 3 point hitch will work on mowers, rakes, etc. If you'd like to see that photo, send me an e mail. I know it's shown with a rear blade attached.
