I was on here in January and had some great responces to questions about a 450 red diamond. The student that I am working with is trying to bring the tractor closer to original. He has a manifold that has been thrown together, part truck/part tractor. We have heard that you can have a plate made and mount a truck manifold upside down so that exhaust goes up through the hood hole. Will this work? If so has anyone on here done it? Any patterns for the plate? Any help would be great.... The tractor will be leaving school this friday, it has fresh paint and looks much better. I hope that the student continues the project at home.
Thanks.
