Thanks for all the comments. I have herd people around here call the H's and so on that burn dist and kero duel fuel, all fuel, dist burners, and kero burners. In the manuls your right it just calls them dist or kero or gas only. I did not think it would be that big of a deal. so the tractor was a dist burner now running on gas. I wont really be sad if i go back next time on my way to south dakota and she is gone. I was gonna buy it from the guy right then and there as i had my trailer all ready to go i was hauling a md home. I thought the price was cheap actually for how nice it looked. not show quality but it looked nice compared to alot of em you see for that price range. I wont be sad if shes gone as when i left I knew i would never see her again. as if i went back there in a month there will be other tractors sitting along hiway 7. i seen at leat 8 that were farmalls. and saw 5 or six non ih models. I already have 4 farmalls in my collection and that is just the start. I also have a cub grizzly that is just like the j.d. gator and i have a cub cadet hydro with a snow thrower on it and a nice home made cab with heat. The only thing i dont like about the cub is the snow thrower dosent take a big enough swath as i can just use my MD with the bucket and get er done in about 10th of the time. but it leaves piles where the cub does not. i have kids and they love the big piles of snow to make caves in and play king of the hill. I think im gonna take the snow thrower off and oil it up and put her aside and throw the mower deck back on as the mtd mower i got is always blowing belts or fallen apart. But as far as the "duel fuel" goes i have herd many i.h. guys call them that whether or not it is what they are tech called dosent matter to me as its all good.

Today's Featured Article - Choosin, Mounting and Using a Bush Hog Type Mower - by Francis Robinson. Looking around at my new neighbors, most of whom are city raised and have recently acquired their first mini-farms of five to fifteen acres and also from reading questions ask at various discussion sites on the web it is frighteningly apparent that a great many guys (and a few gals) are learning by trial and error and mostly error how to use a very dangerous piece of farm equipment. It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro ... [Read Article]
